PRESENTERS

Justina Chen W. Aaron French is an internal communications manager at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). His first loves were dinosaurs and the Oxford comma, so he's confused about why his first career was financial analysis. He came to his senses in 2012, when he jumped into internal communications and ended up leading teams and projects at a large national nonprofit and the federal government. He's known to do a little social media and engagement consulting on the side, too. You can find him tweeting about strategy, life in D.C., Steelers football and everything in between at @AaronMoFoFrench.
Beth Nyland Rob Reinalda has been executive editor for Ragan Communications since 2008, having spent decades at newspapers and magazines including the Chicago Tribune and the New York Daily News. He wrote and edited Ragan's internal style guide and has crafted popular articles about grammar, usage and punctuation for Ragan.com, PR Daily and The Huffington Post. His web events offer tips and insights on language for novices and veterans alike, and he has written podcasts for Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips.
Lucy Abreu Lucy Abreu is senior director of corporate communications at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, an industry leader in mental health. She heads the public and media relations, executive and internal communications, sales communications and multimedia productions teams. Over two decades, Abreu's professional experience has spanned digital and social media marketing; corporate communications; and broadcast, print and web journalism. She also has contributed creatively and strategically to some of the world's top-tier organizations in the news media (CNN, New Jersey Network, CBS and Gannett Newspapers), financial services (BlackRock and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers) and health care (Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson).
Kelly Stone Kelly Stone is director of global social media at CompTIA. In her first year with the nonprofit IT trade and professional association, she increased CompTIA's Klout score by 32 percent, its LinkedIn company following by 263 percent and the traffic to its website from social media by 89 percent. In her second year, she increased traffic from social media to organization's membership site by 65 percent with 6 percent of all downloads attributable to social media. Kelly holds a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and an undergraduate degree in communications from Bradley University.
